Back to Clean: Volunteer Cleanup at Sheldrake – POSTPONED

***This program is being postponed to Sun 10/1 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Please register for that event here.***

After a summer of nature enjoyment, Sheldrake could use a good cleaning! Please join us to remove litter from the reservoir. Cleanups help make the Sheldrake Lake and pond a cleaner habitat for our plants and animals, which include fish, frogs, turtles, birds, ducks, and more. Cleanups also make a positive impact on the health and quality of the water as it continues downstream and enters the Long Island Sound.

FREE, but advance registration is required (drop-ins cannot be accommodated). Please bring your own work gloves, if you have. Meet at the potting shed.

Community-service hours are available! Please specify on the registration form if you’re requesting a completion certificate.

Date: Sunday, September 24

Time: 10:00 am-12:00 pm (participants needn’t commit to the full 2 hours, unless desired; a 30-minute block is helpful)

Advance registration required. Space is limited so register today!
