Nature Discovery for 2s and 3s – January

Get outside in winter with other families at Sheldrake, as you discover nature with your little one. This class is designed to expose children to the joys of nature at a young age towards the goal of cultivating a life-long love of the natural world. Adventures for wee ones might include studying animal tracks, noticing nests, identifying over-wintering animals, nature activities, and storytime. There’s no shortage of educational fun on Sheldrake’s 60 acres! Offered three times this winter; register for each date separately.

Dates: Thursday, January 12

Times: 10:00-10:45 am

Ages: 2-3.5 years old, with an actively participating adult caregiver (children must meet age requirements)

Format: This program will primarily be conducted outdoors in nature. Portions of the time may be spent indoors. Masks are optional.

Fee: Free, thanks to a generous grant from Con Edison
