Get outside with other families and a naturalist at Sheldrake, as you discover nature with your little one. This class is designed to expose children to the joys of nature at a young age, towards the goal of cultivating a life-long love of the natural world. Each week, we’ll explore a different aspect of nature, enhanced by trail time and related activities that might include stories, games, or crafts. There’s no shortage of educational fun for wee learners on Sheldrake’s 60 acres!

Both children and their adult chaperones must complete a waiver to participate. Chaperones other than the child’s parents should print the Sheldrake waiver, sign this, and bring the signed waiver to the program for collection.

Dates: Thursdays – September 24-November 19 (9 weeks; December 3 is reserved for a makeup, in case one is needed)

Times: 10:00-11:00 am

Age: Exclusively designed for children who are 2 years old, with an actively participating adult caregiver (children must meet age requirements)

Format: This program may be conducted both outdoors and indoors.

Fee: Members: $105; nonmembers: $135
