When preschool is out…it’s time for June nature fun at Sheldrake! Join us for outdoor/indoor and enrichment at our popular STEM program. Your child will spend the week being a nature detective, learning about the plant and animal wildlife around Sheldrake’s 60 acres. Time will be spent exploring the natural world, listening to nature stories, crafting, and playing games. Both our outdoor and indoor classrooms will be used.

Registration is by week, allowing families to pick and choose. The 2026 schedule is as follows (afternoon sessions might be added at a later date):

• June 8-12 – 9:30 am-12:30 pm pm
• June 15-19 – 9:30 am-12:30 pm
• June 22-26 – 9:30 am-12:30 pm – waitlist only

Ages: 3-6 (must be at least 3 years old prior to the start of the program week)

Fee per Week: $425 for members, $450 for non-members

Format: This is a drop-off program. Time will be spent both outdoors and indoors. Multiple groups may run concurrently for select weeks. Group requests are not guaranteed, except in the case of siblings.

Cancellation Policy: This program proceeds in inclement weather unless hazardous conditions occur. In the event that Sheldrake should cancel a program (or a portion thereof), a refund will be issued, proportionate to the canceled event. Participant cancellation requires a minimum of one week’s notice (in writing to scheduling@sheldrakecenter.org; be sure to obtain written confirmation of receipt), and a 25% cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be issued under other circumstances. Registration is not transferable.
