Spring in Full Swing

April is a month of long-awaited transformation and growth in nature. The Sheldrake nature conservancy bustles in spring, with longer and warmer days, the sounds of birds and frogs, the budding of trees, and the blooming of flowers. Sights, sounds, and smells abound! Join us for a discovery walk around our woodland trails, peer out on the pond, and feel connected to the buzzing natural world around us. All in our backyard forest.

Part of the Sheldrake Second Saturday Series of free family programs, made possible by a generous grant from Con Edison. This program is not a drop-off; children must be supervised at all times. Upon arrival, participants will be required to sign a standard liability waiver. There will be no advance registration for this program. Meet under the pavilion behind the white house at 685 Weaver Street. Parking is available at the trailhead (on the other side of the playground) or near the potting shed via the 687 Weaver St driveway. Please leave your pets at home.
