On April 8, 2024, a solar eclipse will cross North America. While Larchmont will not be in the totality of the eclipse, there will be a significant partial solar eclipse in our area. We invite you to share this experience with us! We’ll gather together a few minutes before the eclipse begins and learn what a solar eclipse is, how to be safe while viewing it, and what to expect will happen in nature at the time.
A limited number of complimentary eclipse glasses are available. As protective glasses are essential, our attendance cap must be strictly enforced for the safety of our visitors, and advance registration is required. The glasses we have available are for ages 7Â and up, including a limited quantity of junior sizes (ages 7-11) and a limited quantity of adult sizes (ages 12 and up). Children under age 7 cannot be accommodated and should not attend this program for safety reasons. Additionally, late arrivals might not be accommodated. Please contact our office with any questions in advance of the program.
