Experience the satisfaction of hand-crafting your own soaps from elements of nature. You’ll combine the fragrances of various dried herbs and essential oils, such as lavender and rosemary, to make bars of soap to take home. This is not a drop-off program, but enjoyable for adults and children alike.

Date: Thursday, February 20

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Note: The activity takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Participants can arrive any time between 10:00 and 11:30 am and may supplement their time at Sheldrake by exploring our grounds independently.

Ages: 5 through adult

Format: This is not a drop-off program; children must be accompanied by an actively participating adult. The event takes place indoors.

Cost per Project: Members: $10; non-members: $15

Space is limited; please register early to secure your spot. Registration will close by Friday 2/14 at noon (or when space is no longer available, whichever comes first).

Cancellation Policy: In the event that Sheldrake should cancel a program, either a makeup will be scheduled or a refund will be issued. Participant cancellation requires a minimum of one week’s notice (in writing to scheduling@sheldrakecenter.org), and a 25% cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be issued under other circumstances.
