Join our mindful nature-loving community for a weekly guided mindfulness walk in the woods. In summer, we relocate our program to the New Rochelle side of Sheldrake, stimulating our senses with the subtle differences. Each week, we’ll connect with the natural world around us. Guided gentle movement and meditation will be offered. Each session will end with a calming tea. You will receive a backpack with a seat cushion and blanket to make yourself comfortable during our seated moments under the shelter of the cooling forest canopy.
Cindy Olsen is a Sheldrake Environmental Educator, a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, and founder of Cindy By Nature, LLC. She is passionate about sharing the powerful physical and mental benefits of nature and mindfulness with others.

Location: Please note that the summer program will take place on the New Rochelle side of Sheldrake. Meet in the parking lot of the Pinebrook Tennis Center, located at 2 Albert Leonard Road, New Rochelle, 10804.
Format: This program is conducted entirely outdoors.
Attire: We recommend that you wear close-toed shoes and long pants and that you apply sunscreen and bug spray before beginning the hike. Please also bring a water bottle.
Fee: Members: $165; non-members: $190. This is a special summer rate–6 weeks for the price of 5!

Cancellation Policy: In the event that Sheldrake should cancel a program, either a makeup will be scheduled or a refund will be issued. Participant cancellation requires a minimum of one week’s notice (in writing to scheduling@sheldrakecenter.org), and a 25% cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be issued under other circumstances, including missed sessions.
