In his poem “The Waste Land,” T.S. Eliot opens with the line: “April is the cruelest month.”
I beg to differ! While April is often rainy and sometimes even snowy, April is a month of long awaited transformation and growth in nature. The spring is here with its longer and warmer days, the sounds of birds and frogs, the budding of trees, and the blooming of flowers. Join Jocelyn and Librarian Liam Hegarty on a nature walk at the Larchmont Reservoir with Sheldrake Environmental Center. We’ll explore all that’s happening in nature right now. We’ll spend time together, outdoors, connected to the earth and each other.
This program is being offered in partnership with the Larchmont Library.
