Join Sheldrake and One Small Stone for a one-day program designed to help you see the natural world with fresh eyes. Through both mindfulness and drawing exercises, participants will be guided to more fully observe and experience our natural environment. The program will be co-led by a Sheldrake artist-naturalist and Katy Romita, a mindfulness-meditation instructor, to promote a multi-perspective experience.
Designed for adults, this program reconnects participants to a sense of wonder and playfulness—regardless of how artistic or mindful participants consider themselves.
The 90-minute session will include:
– Meditation and mindfulness exercises
– Guided exercises for observing and drawing from nature
– Community conversation and connection
– Meaningful time in nature
Suitable for both new and returning participants.

ABOUT ONE SMALL STONE
One Small Stone is for people who are looking for more peace in their own lives and in the world…for environmentalists and environmentalist wannabes…for long-time meditators and for people just starting out. Using the tools of mindfulness, we can cultivate more joy, happiness, and equanimity in our own day-to-day lives, while also helping to connect authentically and purposefully to the “big things” that are most important to us.
