Animal Moms

With spring comes warming temperatures, longer days…and babies! On the day before Mother’s Day, join Sheldrake naturalists to learn about parenting in nature. Sheldrake’s multiple habitats are home to a variety of species. What’s all that bustling this time of year? We’ll roam our trails to learn about the animals that settle down to raise a family at Sheldrake!

Part of the Sheldrake Second Saturday Series of free family programs, made possible by a generous grant from Con Edison. This program is not a drop-off; children must be supervised at all times. Upon arrival, participants will be required to sign a standard liability waiver. There will be no advance registration for this program. Meet under the pavilion behind the white house at 685 Weaver Street. Parking is available at the trailhead (on the other side of the playground) or near the potting shed via the 687 Weaver St driveway. Please leave your pets at home. Be sure to check this page before heading over in case of any changes.
