Join us on a walk as we search for the woodpeckers that call Sheldrake their home. We’ll learn to identify their songs, search for their homes, and look for evidence that they’ve been here. Bring binoculars if you have them.

There will be no advance registration for this program. Dress for the weather, noting that the ground is muddy from all the recent rain. Waterproof boots are important. Meet at the pavilion behind the white house at 685 Weaver St. There is parking available in the adjacent driveway or in the gravel lot on the other side of the playground.

Format: This program is not a drop-off; children must be accompanied by an adult. The event is expected to be conducted entirely outdoors.
