Spend Spring Break seeing what’s springing up at Sheldrake! After a long winter’s rest, the birds return, frogs and turtles emerge, and trees and flowers take bloom. There’s much to explore and discover on Sheldrake’s 60 acres! This year, Sheldrake is offering three, one-day nature programs. Sign up for any or all! Children will go on daily adventures along our trails and actively participate in other nature fun, such as games, storytime, and other activities that connect them with the natural world and with each other.
The schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, April 15 – Birds
- Wednesday, April 16 – Signs of Spring
- Thursday, April 17 – Frogs
Date: Tuesday, April 15
Time: 9:30 am-12:30 pm
Ages: 3-6 (children must meet age requirements)
Format: Drop-off. Time may be spent both outdoors and indoors. Currently, one group is anticipated; however, families are asked to specify group requests on the registration form in case that should change)
Fee: $80 for members, $85 for non-members
Cancellation Policy: Camp proceeds in inclement weather unless hazardous conditions occur. In the event that Sheldrake should cancel a program (or a portion thereof), either a makeup will be scheduled or a refund will be issued (proportionate to the canceled event). Participant cancellation requires a minimum of one week’s notice (in writing to scheduling@sheldrakecenter.org; be sure to obtain written confirmation of receipt), and a 25% cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be issued under other circumstances.
