Get outside with other families and a naturalist at Sheldrake, as you discover nature with your little one. This class is designed to expose children to the joys of nature at a young age towards the goal of cultivating a life-long love of the natural world. Adventures for wee ones might include studying animal tracks, noticing nests, identifying over-wintering animals, nature activities, and storytime. There’s no shortage of educational fun on Sheldrake’s 60 acres!
Dates: Thursdays – April 20-May 25 (6 sessions)
Times: 10:00-10:45 am
Ages: 2-3.5 years old, with an actively participating adult caregiver (children must meet age requirements)
Format: This program will primarily be conducted outdoors in nature. Portions of the time may be spent indoors. Masks are optional.
Fee: Free, thanks to a generous grant from Con Edison
