Signs of spring are springing up all over Sheldrake! As hibernators reawaken and birds return home, spring at Sheldrake is bustling. Our Forest Friends will spend April and May observing these and other seasonal effects on plant and animal life, exploring Sheldrake’s 60 acres of trails, woods, and pond. Fun nature activities add to the joy. Our naturalist-led program provides the opportunity for STEM enrichment, connection with nature, and the company of other young enthusiasts.
Our Forest Friends:
- hone their scientific observation skills with weekly STEM fun
- learn about birds, insects, seeds, trees, and other natural wonders
- foster respect for the natural world and their budding role as environmental stewards
- have fun with nature games, stories, and other activities
