Spring is almost here—we promise! Nature has a way of tipping us off to its arrival. Even weeks before the Spring Equinox, harbingers appear: blooming spring ephemerals, skunk cabbage poking up from the ground, bird chatter and movement, and more. These are all examples found under the canopy of the woods at Sheldrake, where we invite you to join us for a pre-season peak at early signs of spring.
Part of the Sheldrake Second Saturday Series of free family programs, made possible by a generous grant from Con Edison. This series will skip April due to the holiday schedule and Spring Break; the final installment for the 2024-25 season is scheduled for May 10.
