How does the Earth stay clean? Nature has its very own trash collectors, and one of the most fascinating is the enormous but critically endangered California Condor. This enormous creature has been cleaning up the earth since the time of wooly mammoths! But today, there are only about 1,000 of these giant birds left in the world. Come learn about the importance of scavengers in an ecosystem, how cool vultures are, and what scientists are doing today to help bring back the mighty California Condor. This Sheldrake program will include a fun craft that uses simple, at home materials.
For ages 6-9.
