Keep prescoholers active and outdoors with weekly after-school nature adventures at Sheldrake! Preschool-aged children get to explore Sheldrake’s 60 acres, learning about its inhabitants, making observations about the natural world, and participating in fun nature activities. Our naturalist-led program provides the opportunity for STEM enrichment, connection with nature, and the company of other young enthusiasts, with attention to the seasonal changes from late summer through late fall.
Our Forest Friends:
- get first-hand experience with science and nature
- learn about birds, insects, seeds, trees, and other natural wonders
- enjoy the outdoors as they explore the trails of a 60-acre conservancy
