Tiny Trekkers (Mommy & Me)
Young children learn about the wonders of nature with an adult accompanying each child. These 8 sessions include a story to introduce a theme, a craft and a nature walk. Classes meet in the potting shed at 687 Weaver Street in Larchmont. Ages 3 to 5.
Tuesdays, March 23 – May 18 (no class March 30) or Thursdays, March 25 – May 20 (no class April 1)
10:30-11:30am or 1:00-2:00pm
$104 members, $120 non-members
Young Explorers (Pre-K Drop-Off)
Add fun discoveries to your child’s day with a hands-on exploration of the natural world. Arts & crafts, walks, experiments, stories and games are designed to bring out the natural curiosity in your pre-schooler. This program will be held in the Sheldrake main building in the downstairs classroom. 10 sessions for Monday program, 11 for other days. Snack provided. Ages 4 to 5.
Mondays, March 22 – June 7 (no classes March 29 and May 31)
Wednesdays, March 24 – June 9 (no class March 31) 12:45-2:45pm

Nature Detectives (After-school Nature Club)
An introduction to the wonders of Sheldrake through experiments, hikes, art, “eco-dramas,” live creatures and other exciting environmental activities. This program will be held in the Sheldrake main building in the downstairs classroom. 11 sessions. Snack provided.

Spring Vacation Club
Give the children something to look forward to on their days off! Register them now for our theme vacation clubs which will titillate them with the wonders of our natural world. Snack provided.

Young Explorers June Extension Program (for pre-schoolers)
We love to keep the pre-schoolers occupied with our nature programs until summer camp starts!
Ages 4 to 5.

Summer Ecology Program
If your child loves the outdoors and enjoys getting dirty, this program is the one! The beauty and diversity of the many habitats and inhabitants of the conservancy will come alive through trail walks, experiments, scavenger hunts, stories, visiting animal specialists, crafts, “eco-dramas” and other intriguing activities designed to bring out your child’s innate curiosity. Special arrangements will be made for Monroe campers who are dismissed at 1:00 pm and wish to transfer directly into our afternoon ecology program. Ages 4 and older.
Weekdays, July 6 - August 13
1:30-3:30pm
2 days/week (Tue, Thu), $350 for members/$375 for non-members
3 days/week (Mon, Wed, Fri), $475 for members/$515 for non-members
5 days/week, $785 for members/$830 for non-members
Participation in weekly sessions (Mon – Fri) $145 for members/$155 for non-members
